Erysimum bowles Mauve – Bee Friendly and Long Flowering Period

Erysimum is a winter hardy medium shrub that loves hanging over raised bed edges or walls, I am personally recommending this plant as semi beneficial due to observing bumble bees on it for many months of the year and with the most recent mild winters, we had flowers through winter in multiple sites all over London including in my own garden and some local parks.

Erysimum get to be medium sized shrubs and mature bushes easily have up to or beyond 300 flower stems at one time, I have seen them mixed into beds with Perovskia and Lavender which seemed to work well especially for pollinators.
